LDP is a complete resource for design, development and engineering of fragrance, cosmetics, and health and beauty packaging with over 30 years of experience in the development of glass, plastic and metal components. Our knowledge of glass, injection molding, extrusion and injection blow molding, die casting and all types of component decoration and assembly is unrivaled in one place.
Product Development
From concept LDP considers materials, manufacturing and assembly. Packages are the correct size and capacity, glass and plastic weight are correctly calculated, neck finishes and closures are appropriate for the product.

Appropriate Design
LDP redesigned the color makeup line for Yanbal International (Peru). The compact was designed to allow for easy changes to appearance by inserting a paper liner. This extended the investment in tooling over a much larger usage, enabling very economical seasonal, promotional and line extensions.
Design Engineering
From concept to production the design has to work. LDP integrates design engineering to provide detailed documentation in both 2D and 3D form.
Innovation
Getting from concept to production often requires new thinking about construction, assembly and detail -- making a complex part easily moldable.
Invention
Estee Lauder needed a way to protect delicate, powder makeup from breaking in a compact. We developed a shock absorber built in to the base of the compact that protected the makeup, added no thickness to the case and no cost to production.
